Fiber-reinforced thermoplastics – Made in Germany

XELIS is actively engaged throughout the world in areas where fiber reinforced thermoplastics and Continuous Compression Molding (X-CCM®) as well as hot-stamp-forming are utilized aerospace, medical and industry applications, as well as for oil and gas sector tasks.
We offer our customers measurable competitive advantages through tailor-made components and systems, which are adapted to their individually defined requirements. In this regard, we also able to continuously demonstrate our unique expertise regarding the X-CCM® technology, as well as for the production of high-tech lightweight thermoplastic components made of fiber composites.

Thereby, our key focus is on the quality – Made in Germany.

Products / Services

  • production and development of thermoplastic products made of fiber-reinforced Composite materials(CFRP) (GFRP)
  • series production of thermoplastic Composite laminates and profiles with the in-house developed Continuous Compression Molding (X-CCM®) process
  • built-to-print manufacturer: customized lightweight design solutions, which are adapted to our customer’s special requirements

Strengths

  • Certification: EN 9100:2018
  • From the idea, to a first concept based on FEM-Simulation till a series production

Key product benefits

  • Thermoplastic components are lightweight, reliable and adaptable to demanding requirements. As a result, e.g. in aviation, fuel consumption and thus emissions decrease
  • Lightweight components require less maintenance, which also reduces costs
  • Thermoplastic fiber composites are mainly used in industry because they are shock and impact resistant and absorb vibrations well
  • X-ray transparency
