LAKE FUSION Technologies (LFT) is a deep-tech firm developing software and rule-based algorithms for highly automated systems. LFT was founded at the end of 2018 by former Airbus engineers who had previously been involved in the development and marketing of laser-based obstacle and collision warning systems as well as mission computers for helicopters. The main focus is on developing deterministic LiDAR algorithms and on safety-relevant sensor data fusion for environment perception systems from a safety viewpoint. Assuring artificial intelligence (AI) for safety critical systems likewise accounts for a major part of LFT’s activities. LFT’s motto: “Pilot-safe through road traffic”.
